Are there any experienced jumpers willing to teach me how to

Got a question about how to do something in the air? Ask it here and one of our instructors will take care of you. Or just share your stories with other new jumpers.

Are there any experienced jumpers willing to teach me how to

Do a funnel exit? I honestly don't know the first thing about it and I asked Wendy if she was going to be jumping this weekend, but she's going to be out of town :( So now I don't know that many other people that ARE experienced but AREN'T on a team. I will be out there on Saturday in the morning and then come back out on Monday during Memorial Day. Perhaps if DJ or Alex reads this, they could point out a few experienced guys who don't mind jumping with N00bs. I have basically been keeping current and doing tracking jumps...which is always fun, but the solo jumping is starting to wear thin and it would be nice to have my first group skydive since I've obtained my A license a couple years ago.

A funneled formation (exit or otherwise) is when the piece "falls apart", typically by someone getting low in the formation and "sucking" the piece into them. Funneling exits is something a lot of newer jumpers naturally do.

Whenever you are out at the DZ feel free to ask any off the staff to introduce you to other jumpers. The loader usually knows who is doing what type of jumps and can help introduce you to other fun jumpers. See you this weekend.

Thanks for the reply DJ. Since I'm going to be on N00b status for a while a funnel exit shouldn't be a problem :). I was going to be out there part of the day of saturday but I am going out of town and will instead be there ALL DAY on monday. I plan on getting there early and leaving when the sun goes down so I'll ask you when I get out there to point me in the direction of some jumpers willing to jump with me.

Thanks again for the reply
